An attorney in Waco facing a charge for her role in a murder-for-hire plot is upset about the restrictions placed on her.

According to a report from the Waco Tribune Herald, Chelsea Tijerina, an attorney who previously practiced in Waco, recently brought her restriction complaints before a judge. Tijerina and boyfriend Seth Sutton, who is also a fellow Waco attorney, are accused of having conspired to have Tijerina’s ex-husband, Waco attorney Marcus Beaudin, killed.

That might be a tad confusing, so let's break that down even further. Two Waco attorneys are accused of conspiring to have another Waco attorney killed.

While no motive has been given, the assumed reason for the murder-for-hire plot may have something to do with Beaudin's charge of indecency with a child by contact.

Yes, Beaudin is alleged scum, but that doesn't mean that two other Waco attorneys should turn vigilante and decide to take the law into their own hands.

Tijerina and Sutton are both out on $1 million bonds, but were equipped with GPS ankle monitors, and they of course have travel restrictions. Sutton was able to amend his travel restrictions and Tijerina decided to try her luck as well.

At a hearing, Tijerina and her lawyer, Jessi Freud, attempted to have Tijerina's ankle monitor removed. The two stated that the ankle monitor prevented Tijerina from finding work, limited her ability to exercise, and prevented her from moving forward with child visitation rights.

“The monitor also causes bad bruising, especially when she tries to exercise regularly, and exercise is vital to her mental health at this time,” according to the motion.

Cue the world's smallest violin, playing the saddest song.

Fortunately, Waco District Attorney Nelson Barnes had the keen insight to deny Tijerina's request. Unfortunately they did loosen Tijerina's travel restrictions, and she is now allowed to travel freely through Texas.

Apparently in Texas if you have a small possession charge you can't leave the county, but if you're involved with a murder-for-hire plot you can roam freely throughout the state.
