All is well in Cowboys Nation today as Dallas is rolling into Thanksgiving Day with a 7-3 record after destroying the Carolina Panthers 33-10. Not only was it another win for the 'boys, but the team also announced that Jimmy Johnson's name will finally be stamped in the Ring of Honor.

The score doesn't reflect how close this game was. The Panthers hung with the Cowboys for three solid quarters using a stingy defense that kept the high-octane Dallas offense at bay.

Then the fourth quarter started and, in a matter of seconds, the route was on.

After clinging to a 7-point lead, the Cowboys' offense finally got going thanks to some horrible mistakes by the Panthers' defense. Running back Tony Pollard scored his first touchdown since week one to make the score 24-10.

Bland now has four interceptions returned for a touchdown on the season, tying an NFL record and setting a franchise record in the process. This dude just keeps getting better and better. I can't even imagine what this defense will be next year when Trevon Diggs returns.

I like where our defense is right now. With Bland turning into a superstar and the beast that is Micah Parsons doing his thing, our defense is on a tear. Throw in the fact that our offense is finally catching fire, and things seem to be coming together nicely.

Granted we were facing the now 1-9 Panthers who seem to shoot themselves in the foot with a ton of mistakes. But as they say, a win is a win, right?

Jimmy Johnson Makes Ring of Honor

Before the game against the Panthers, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and former coach Jimmy Johnson shared the camera to announce what many fans, including myself, think is well overdue.

Although Jerry Jones meant 2023, it didn't stop Jimmy from poking a little fun at Jerry saying, "I hope it's 2023."

So it appears the hatchet has been buried between Johnson and Jones. Finally. It's about time, Jerry!
