Harris County:
Harris County, which encompasses Houston, tops the list with the highest number of speeding tickets issued each year. Around 330,000 speeding tickets are recorded in this county annually.
Travis County:
Home to the state's capital of Austin, Travis County also ranks high in the issuing of speeding tickets. It reported over 210,000 speeding tickets in one year alone, making it one of the busiest areas for traffic enforcement.
Dallas County:
Dallas County, including the city of Dallas, is a bit closer to home and well known for its high traffic and twisting highways. With more than 195,000 speeding tickets issued back in 2020, it remains a legit hotspot for traffic violations.
Bexar County:
San Antonio is located in Bexar County, which consistently has its share of speeding tickets issued. Within a year's time, the county recorded over 150,000 speeding violations.
Tarrant County:
Tarrant County, home to the city of Fort Worth, rounds out the list with over 130,000 speeding tickets distributed within a typical year. Use caution and be prepared if you're headed that way.
