The Urgent Doc brand has survived and thrived in the Deep Southeast Texas area since 2007. I've had many chances to meet and talk with Dr. Iverson in the 18 years he spent as a doctor in our area.

Many upstart "Urgent Care" facilities have come and gone over the years, but Urgent Doc has remained strong with this amazing doctor's guidance. Sadly, things changed due to some recent personal health issues Dr. Iverson faced.

Though I am sure he would rather be with his patients, we wish him a very happy retirement. Texas MedClinic will be taking over their 4 locations.

The Staff Will Stay The Same At Clinics, Billing Department Terminated

Staff at the clinics will remain the same, but the name outside will change after April 18, 2025. Sadly, the billing department of Urgent Health Solutions, PLLC, dba as Urgent Doc, will not have a place in this new restructuring.

In a recent Facebook post, they clarified the situation with the new company that is coming to take over the 4 locations. They will keep the same staff inside the clinics, so patients won't see much of a difference.

The billing department will not be part of the new company, though they tried to include it in the acquisition. Those department members will be employed until the end of May, and their former company is doing what they can to find them placement.

Urgent Doc To Be Rebranded And Reopend As Texas MedClinic

In a little over a month, Urgent Doc will be Texas MedClinic, so don't be surprised when you see the sign change.
