Found! Texas Giraffe Gracie Located Safe After Intense Days-Long Search
Overnight, Gracie the giraffe became something of a celebrity here in the great state of Texas. After leaving her Hill Country ranch several days ago, people across the state joined in the search for the 12-foot-tall, three-and-a-half-year-old giraffe.

The Search For Gracie Had Texas In A Stand Still
Although Texans found plenty of humor in the situation, making jokes about where she might be and creating edited photos that placed her at fire departments and other local landmarks, there was still genuine concern. As funny as the memes and social media posts were, the reality was that it was a little nerve-racking not knowing where such a large and beloved animal had gone.
Have You Seen Gracie?
Gracie was last seen on Monday after leaving Cedar Hollow Ranch. She was spotted west of Leakey, Texas, but after that, there were no confirmed sightings. A $5,000 reward was offered for information leading to her safe return, yet it still seemed that no one knew where she was. Many Texans were baffled by the situation. After all, how could anyone lose track of, possibly hide, such a massive animal?
She's Home! Is Gracie Okay?
Thankfully, the story has a happy ending. According to WFAA, the Real County Sheriff's Office confirmed this morning that Gracie was found at approximately 6:45 a.m. She was safe, healthy, and located about four miles south of Cedar Hollow Ranch. The news brought relief to everyone who had been following the story and hoping for her safe return.
Welcome Home, Gracie!
Now, of course, we can't get an official statement from the young lady herself, but we do have one question: Gracie, where in the world have you been for the last week? Whatever adventures she experienced, we're just glad she made it home safely. Her unexpected journey captured the attention of Texans across the state, proving that sometimes even the most unusual stories can bring people together with a shared sense of hope, humor, and relief.
