Looking for Free Family Fun? Killeen’s Outdoor Movie Nights Start June 26

The City of Killeen’s most anticipated event is finally back for you and your family! Starting June 26, the Free Movies in the Park event returns, and I couldn’t be more excited. This event allows you to bond with the community while enjoying a fun, free evening with your family.

Where Is The Event Located?

There will be a total of three movies shown on three Fridays in June and July. Two of the films will be shown at the Killeen Athletic Complex, 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd., and one will be held at the Zenner Family Aquatic Center, 1800 East Schluter Loop.

 What Movies Are Playing At Each Event?

On Friday, June 26, the first movie, Disney’s Zootopia, will be shown at the Athletic Complex. On Friday, July 10, the second movie, Lilo & Stitch, will be featured at the Zenner Family Aquatic Center. The final movie will take place on Friday, July 24, at the Killeen Athletic Complex, where the community can enjoy Disney’s Coco.

When Will The Festivities Begin?

The festivities will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the movie will start shortly after dusk. Free popcorn will be available, and while the movie is free, additional food and beverages will be sold by vendors. If you have never attended a Movies in the Park event in the City of Killeen, be sure to bring your own snacks, refreshments, blankets, and chairs, as these items will not be provided.

Here Is What You CANNOT Do At The Event

Please keep in mind that alcohol, smoking, glass containers, pets, and any items that may damage the athletic field, including stake umbrellas, are prohibited. In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be postponed to the following day. Bring the whole family out to enjoy some laughs and make lasting memories at Movies in the Park!
