According to Stacker, a list ranked metro areas by their immigrant populations, and the Killeen-Temple, Texas, metro area was among those highlighted. The rankings were based on U.S. Census Bureau data and measured the number of foreign-born residents living in the Killeen-Temple metropolitan area using the 2024 five-year estimate.

Why Is Killeen a Possibility?

Honestly, that makes sense to me. We're home to one of the largest military installations in the country, Fort Hood, and it's a melting pot of cultures and backgrounds. While some communities may have larger populations of one racial or ethnic group than another, it's common to meet someone who immigrated here or someone who is married to an immigrant. That's just the way it works because of the area's diversity.
