Belton, Texas Man Accused Of Filming Female With Hidden Camera
An affidavit from Belton, Texas police has revealed details in regards the crimes that Pedro Stevenson of the city was arrested and charged for. Here's what we know at the time of writing.
Pedro Stevenson's Alleged Actions
According to KWTX, Belton police on May 10th were called to a house close to Lanita Drive. The affidavit then reports officers met with, at the time of writing, an unidentified witness and victim. The witness told law enforcement that their cousin saw a live feed of the victim's living space on the phone of Stevenson.
The witness also gave evidence to the police, which was a photo alleged to have shown the victim's house on Stevenson's phone. After the witness found this out, they went to alert the victim.
The affidavit reveals that the victim knew Stevenson, and considered them a close friend. Stevenson recently had installed what was described as a Wi-Fi booster. However, the victim found a hidden camera inside the device, according to the affidavit.
The victim reported to law enforcement that after they disengaged the device, Stevenson reached out to the victim to make sure things were alright with them.
Police Findings On The Wi-Fi Booster
The Affidavit states that went police looked into the files on the hidden camera, they found Stevenson on recording moving the device to various areas of the victim's living space, as well as multiple improper videos of the victim.
According to KWTX, Stevenson is currently in Bell County Jail, charged with invasive visual recording, and a $50,000 bond. As this is a developing story, more details will be reported when they become available.
