(Nolanville, Texas) - This weekend, Central Texas will celebrate the life and legacy of a man who lost his life far too early to sickle cell complications, and it's a chance for all of us to help save lives.

Smile Like Marcus at Grizzly's Hidden Falls Nursery in Nolanville will honor the life of Marcus Simmons - a local Air Force veteran, father, and school bus driver who passed away in 2009.

The event will feature live music, food trucks, outdoor art classes and exhibits, and, most importantly, a charity auction to benefit the Central Texas chapter of the Red Cross and a blood drive hosted by Carter BloodCare.

The works of 40 artists will be on display, and since they know it will be a hot one, the First United Methodist Church of Nolanville will be providing free water to keep everyone hydrated and safe.
