Peeps have always been a candy that some love, and some despise. Some can't wait for the holiday to get their yearly intake of them. Others look at disgust of the little birds and wonder how one eats them.
Regardless of your stance on them, they certainly have stood the test of time, having been on store shelves for almost seventy years. Different flavors have been released throughout the multiple years of it's existence, but with the anniversary coming up, certain flavors may cause a metaphorical turning of the head.
Announced recently were three new flavors, and let's just say one is certain the pique the interests of Texans across the nation.
What Kind Of Peeps Were Announced?
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the little sugary birds, three new flavors will be making their debut. One that will probably be good is Peeps with a Mike and Ike flavoring. But the two others mentioned will certainly cause divided thoughts.
According to the official press release from the company, the other two flavors are Kettle Corn and...Dr. Pepper. Yes you read that right, Dr. Pepper flavored Peeps. One question, how in the world is this going to work flavor-wise?
We mean, Dr. Pepper is a liquid, but how is this going to mix with marshmallow well? Also, who thought up this flavor? There are so many questions that need answering.
