Police in Houston, Texas are currently searching for an individual involved in shooting an officer. Here's what we know at this point in time.

Details So Far

According to FOX 26, Terran Green and James Green were pulled over Wednesday Evening on August 16, 2023, by an unnamed Harris County Deputy. During the stop, a shootout occurred, with the deputy sustaining injuries after being shot in the torso. The officer, at the time of writing, has undergone surgery and remains in critical, but stable, condition.

Following the shooting, a blue alert was sent out asking for information in regards to the whereabouts of Terran and James. FOX 26 reports the vehicle alleged that the two were driving was located during the night.

James Green was recently taken into custody, according to the Texas Department Of Public Safety:

According to the Texas Department Of Public Safety, Terran has tattoos on his  neck, chest, abdomen, and both arms, as well as scars on his abdomen and right shoulder. If you've seen him, police in Houston are asking for citizens to not approach, but call 911 to report the sighting, as well as any other relevant information.

You can also submit tips to the Texas Department of Public Safety, where if your tip helps leads to successful capture of Terran, you could be eligible for a reward of $20,000.
