A woman in Texas is currently in jail after her child was found dead in a hot car. Here's what is known at the time of writing.

Corpus Christi, Texas Woman In Jail Due To Death Of Child In Hot Car

Per The Corpus Christi Caller Times, Hilda Ann Adame was recently taken into custody. The news organization revealed the situation as to how the child was left in the vehicle. A statement from Adame herself revealed that morning she did not remember to drop her child off at daycare on the Tuesday in question.

Police and EMS, following being alerted to the discovery of the child, made their way to Browne Middle School. Per the department, when they arrived on scene at 1:29 PM, they found the nurse of the school performing CPR on the child. Following the CPR, the Fire Department took the child to a hospital, where sadly the child was pronounced decreased.

Charges Against Adame And Setting Of Her Bond

The Corpus Christi Caller Times reports that Adame into a jail in Nueces County. The charges are injury to a child with serious bodily injury, and the bond set at $700,000. The other charge is abandoning and endangering a child in imminent danger, with the bond set at $200,000.

Per The Corpus Christi Caller Times, Adame will remain incarcerated until she is about to post bond. At the time of writing she hasn't done so.
