Killeen, Texas will be hosting their annual Touch a Truck event on Saturday, March 30, 2024 for all the children of Central Texas to learn more about emergency services, and get an up close look both inside and outside of the many service vehicles throughout Bell County. This event is held annually in many communities, and often provides relief to parents for the endless questions they receive about how to operate an emergency vehicle or a bucket truck.

The greatest part of a Touch a Truck event is that it is literally hands on, and often in addition to touching the trucks, the kids will walk away with freebies and opportunities to try on various work gear of the participating exhibitors.

New Epic Experience For Kids Happening In Killeen, Texas

By partnering with the Bell County Health District, this event will feature tons of vendors and giveaways in addition to the many trucks on display. At the bare minimum, it is a great way to introduce your children to the many first responders and public servants that assist in our daily quality of life, and you also get the added benefit of enjoying some fresh air and hopefully a tiring experience that will lead to a stress free bedtime later that night.

^^This is literally the goal for my wife and I.^^

If you would like to participate as a vendor or exhibitor, please contact Erin Hughley at ehughley@bellcountyhealth.org, or 254-532-9800 ext. 1102.
