The City of Killeen Has Launched A Video To Present Its Police Community Engagement Unit
The city of Killeen released a video introducing the police community engagement unit to the city. This vision includes the police department community engagement unit and homeless outreach team where the units will focus on building stronger relationships between the community and people with our law enforcement team.
THE CITY OF KILLEEN IS CHANGING THE NEGATIVE STIGMA WITH A POSITIVE MOVEMENT
The city of Killeen says that they are making it their business to erase the negative stigma surrounding law enforcement and give people a chance that they felt they never had before. The Unit is headquartered in Historic Downtown Killeen and they are at most community events, especially those located in historic downtown.

They also organize outreach programs, and educational sessions, visit area schools; and run youth camps. This unit plays a crucial role in addressing community concerns, specifically in the downtown area, working with housing and downtown businesses to promote crime prevention strategies, and assisting the homeless and other disadvantaged groups in our community.
