Ok El Paso parents, if your kid tells you they’re off early on Election Day, it’s not a lie! It’s the truth.

Parents in Socorro Independent School District and Ysleta Independent School District should plan ahead for Tuesday, November 3, as students will be dismissed early to give staff members an opportunity to vote on Election Day.

Both districts have scheduled shortened school days, so families may need to make arrangements for student pickup, transportation and after-school care.
