This Survey Reveals What Texas Moms REALLY want for Mother’s Day
Ok, I think we can all agree that motherhood is one of the most challenging yet fulfilling roles. Maybe I’m a little biased when I make that statement because I’m a mom, but even before I became a mom I saw the hard work my mom put in to make sure all her 5 kids were taken care of and I knew it wasn’t easy, but she did an amazing job!
So, when it comes to finding that perfect gift for your mom on Mother’s Day, it may be difficult because moms are notorious for saying, “I don’t need anything” and now you’re left wondering, “What the heck do I get her?!”
Well, no need to fear because A recent survey asked 2,000 American mothers in their 40s what they would want as a gift for Mother’s Day and some of these responses may surprise you and others are gifts we already know moms want!
Contrary to popular belief, physical gifts often take a backseat. Instead, moms cherish experiences and personal interactions, prioritizing relaxation and feeling valued.
Family outings emerge as a favorite, emphasizing the importance of quality time spent together.
The study took a deeper dive into what gifts moms wanted in each state. While Californian moms opt for family adventures, those in Arizona and Delaware yearn for a chore-free day.
Nebraska moms crave solitude, while Alaskan, Idahoan, and Montana moms dream of spa indulgence. The spontaneous souls in Missouri, Tennessee, and Washington seek weekend getaways.
Texas moms prefer a family outing, while New Mexico moms want a purchased gift.
Here’s a list of the top things moms want for Mother’s Day:
- Family outing (35%)
- Chore-free day (12%)
- Alone time (11%)
- Spa day (11%)
- Weekend getaway (10%):
So the bottom line is that sometimes moms don’t care about materialistic stuff. Sometimes the perfect recipe is simple yet profound: quality time, heartfelt gestures, and personalized tokens of appreciation.
