A portion of South Kegley Road in Temple that was closed because of a sinkhole has reopened.

City of Temple Communications Director Shannon Gowan announced the reopening Wednesday at 1:33 PM.

On Tuesday, May 10, the City of Temple closed a portion of Kegley near the intersection of the 1100 block and Wildflower Lane  due to a sinkhole that formed near a bridge after recent rains.

The road is now back to normal, which is sure to be a relief to everyone whose routes were disrupted.

Thanks to the City of Temple for the quick repairs!
