Killeen Community Center Open to Those Seeking Warm Shelter
Weather over the next few days is expected to be especially cold and wet. To help those in need of warm shelter, the Killeen Community Center will remain open 'round the clock until things begin to warm up a little.
Hillary Shine with the City of Killeen announced Saturday that the community center at 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Boulevard will open at 3 PM Sunday, December 31 and remain open 24 hours a day to those seeking shelter as long as the freezing weather persists.
