Killeen police have issued a press release about this case. We present it in full below:

On Thursday, February 21, 2019, at approximately 5:24 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of E. Central Texas Expressway in reference to a disturbance.  Upon the officers’ arrival, they were told two parents kidnapped their three children during a supervised visit.  They fled the area in a gold and black SUV.

Through the investigation, detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division, Special Victims Unit, were told that the children were removed from the parents’ custody and placed with Child Protective Services due to a history of family violence.  It is believed that the suspects have left the Killeen area.

The victims are identified as 11 year-old Hunter Gilseth, white male, 9 year-old Dylan Gilseth, white male, and 4 year-old Levi Gilseth, white male.

The suspects are identified as 32 year-old Jeffrey Gilseth, a white male with brown hair and green eyes, approximately 5’10” tall and 250 pounds and 32 year-old Maria Gilseth, a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, approximately 5’2” tall and 150 pounds.

The suspects’ vehicle is a gold and black Ford Explorer, with Texas license plate LDC1235.

This case has been reviewed with the Bell County District Attorney’s Office and warrants have been issued for the arrest of both parents in relation to this abduction.  KPD has been working with the United State Marshal’s Service to locate the suspects and children.

Police in Killeen and McCulloch County are searching for two people believed to have abducted their three children after the kids were removed from their custody.

The suspects are Jefferey and Maria Gilseth, according to a social media post from McCulloch County authorities. Police believe Jeffrey is armed and should be considered dangerous, and that the children are in "imminent danger".

The children are 11-year-old Hunter Gilseth, 9-year-old Dylan Gilseth, and 6-year-old Levi Gilseth.

Police say the suspects were driving a gold 2018 Ford Explorer with Texas plate LDC1235, and that they have known ties to Brady, TX (their current residence), Coleman, TX, Lampasas, TX, and Alaska.

Jeffrey Gilseth was described as a white man with brown hair and green eyes standing 5'10" and weighing 250 pounds.

Maria Gilseth was described as a white woman with brown hair and brown eyes standing 5'03" and weighing 150 pounds.

According to McCulloch County officials, Killeen police are working to secure an Amber Alert. In the mean time, let's get this information out in hopes that someone will see something and get these kids home safely.
