You can check out books, but you can't use the computers right now at the library in Killeen.

Last Friday, power to the Killeen Library was interrupted by a traffic accident. At this point, the main library is open, but fiber is not yet restored.

That means no online services will be available. But, you are still able to go old school by checking out a real book with paper and ink. Google it. Just don't try to Google it at the library.

The Cooper Mountain Branch Library at 300 South W.S. Young Drive is open and operating normally.

The City of Killeen apologizes for any inconvenience, and appreciates your co-operation as repairs are being completed.
