Killeen Police Arrest Virgin Island Murder Suspect
A man wanted by police in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands was arrested in Killeen Wednesday morning.
Killeen police received information Tuesday indicating that 43-year-old Currup Williams might be in the Killeen area. According to KPD Spokesperson Alex Gearhart, Currup was seen riding in a van in downtown Killeen at 10:18 AM Wednesday. Currup was taken into custody without incident. The driver of the van was also arrested on an unrelated misdemeanor charge, Gearhart said.
Currup wanted for first degree murder, as well as first degree assault, third degree assault, reckless endangerment, and unauthorized possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
