Killeen police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot inside a vehicle on Cantabrian Drive late Thursday night.

Killeen Police Department Spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez reports that officers responded to a shots fired call in the 3100 block of Cantabrian around 10:45 PM. When they arrived, they discovered 38-year-old Ruldoph Kenyetta Hardison inside a vehicle. He'd been wounded by gunfire.

Hardison was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke at 11:30 PM. The victim's remains will undergo autopsy at the Southwestern Institute of Forensics Sciences of Dallas.

Information submitted to Crime Stoppers is anonymous and confidential, and a tip leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
