Killeen police are investigating after three people were wounded by gunfire in the 1500 block of North 8th Street early Saturday morning.

In a statement, Public Affairs Officer Alex Gearheart wrote that officers arrived at the scene of the shooting around 12:30 AM and found two people suffering non-life threatening injuries. They were transported to a local hospital.

It was later discovered that the third victim was taken to Metroplex Hospital in a private vehicle. Gearheart did not comment on the third victim's condition.

As of Saturday evening, no suspects were in custody.

Information submitted to Crime Stoppers is anonymous and confidential, and a tip leading to an arrest and conviction could net a $1,000 cash reward.
