Killeen Police Need Help Identifying Person of Interest in Murder Case
Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man they say may have information about the recent homicide of 22-year-old Donte Javon Samuels of Killeen.
The man in the photos above has not been labeled a suspect, but detectives need to speak with him.
They're asking anyone who may be able to identify him to contact Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-8477, bellcountycrimestoppers.com, or via the P3Tips app. Crime Stoppers will not ask for your name, and information leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
Samuels was found dead in the front yard of a home on South 56th Street on the morning of Thursday, December 22 around 6:15 AM.
On Friday, December 30, police took Tarah Ann Nichols into custody after a days-long search, believing she may also have information about Samuels' death and may have tampered with or fabricated evidence.
