Killeen police are searching for a woman seen in surveillance video robbing a bank.

Officers were called to the First Texas Bank at 2200 West Central Texas Expressway around 4:33 PM Friday, January 24.

Employees said an African American woman entered the bank, approached a teller, displayed a weapon, and demanded cash. She then fled south with an undisclosed amount of cash.

(If  you watch the video, you can see her smile as she turns from the clerk like it was just a normal, friendly exchange. Yikes.)

The suspect was described as being between 25 and 30 years of age, standing 5’8”, and weighing around 140 to 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a denim jacket, dark leggings, and white tennis shoes.

Anyone who has information that could help detectives find this suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-8477, bellcountycrimestoppers.com, or via the free P3Tips app. Information is anonymous and confidential, and a tip leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
