Killeen police are searching for a man believed to have been involved in shooting that led to the lockdown of Shoemaker High School Friday afternoon.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit of KPD's Criminal Investigation Division say Damani Joseph Bisio should be considered armed and dangerous. He's described as a light-skinned black man standing 5'11" and weighing around 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Police say he's wanted for an outstanding warrant, as well.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-8477 or online at bellcountycrimestoppers.com. Information can also be submitted via the free P3Tips App.

All information is anonymous and confidential, and a tip leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.

KPD spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez reports that Bisio may have been involved in a shooting that occurred shortly before 1 PM Friday in the 4600 block of Windcrest Drive. Investigators say the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with a suspect before being shot. The victim was found lying in the driveway with a gunshot wound when officers arrived, and was transported to Temple's Baylor Scott & White Hospital in unknown condition.

Nearby Shoemaker High School was placed on a brief lockdown as a precaution, but Miramontez says there was never an immediate threat to the campus.
