Killeen Police Searching for Suspect Who Robbed a Family Dollar Store Wednesday Morning

Killeen police are searching for a man who robbed a Family Dollar store in the 1000 block of Bacon Ranch Rd. early Wednesday morning.

The crime reportedly took place around 8:18 AM when a man entered the store and demanded money. A clerk told police the man mentioned having a gun, but didn't display one. The clerk handed the man an undisclosed amount of cash, after which the suspect fled on foot.

The robber was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Detectives are currently investigating the incident and are expected to release more information soon.
