KWTX's Brandon Hamilton reported that a student of a Killeen elementary school was caught with a knife at the elementary school on Monday.

A spokesman of the Killeen Independent School district said, that the student who brought the weapon to the school will be suspended.

The weapon was brought to Skipcha Elementary School on Monday, and the student who brough the weapon to the campus was a fourth grade student.

Terry Abbott, the spokesman of Killeen ISD said, "The student was showing the knife he took from his parents’ display case to classmates."

No one was hurt or threatened by the student with the knife. The parents of the fourth grade student were contacted by phone about their child bringing the weapon to school.
