Killeen SWAT Team Took Two Murder Suspects Into Custody
If you hit a traffic snarl near Young and College in Killeen earlier today, here's why.
KWTX reports that police shut down several streets in the area of West Young Avenue and North College Street (just north of West Rancier) around 10:30 AM as a Killeen PD SWAT team served capital arrest warrants on a pair of suspects.
21-year-old Meundre Donshay Sanders and 25-year-old Dystiny Denice Davis were wanted in connection to the deadly robbery of a bar in Meridian, Mississippi back in October.
According to KWTX's Kathleen Serie, police located the suspects on North College following a tip from the Gulf Coast Fugitive Task force taken into custody and charged with capital murder, armed robbery, and three counts of attempted murder.
Three other people were also arrested on unrelated charges. Serie reports that two of those people attempted to flee from police in a vehicle which contained four weapons - one of which is believed to have been used in the Meridian robbery.
