Killeen Teenager Sentenced in Deadly Racing Case
19-year-old Alexis Woods of Killeen has been sentenced to 16 years in prison after being found guilty of causing an accident that killed two people in November of 2015.
KWTX reports that Woods was involved in a street race on Trimmier Drive when her car collided with a vehicle carrying Francine Wimbush, 66, and Michael Keith Lockett, 60.Wimbush and Lockett died at the scene.
20-year-old Tyrone Moore has also been found guilty in the case, but has not yet been sentenced.
