Domestic Dispute Gets Out of Hand

KWKT is reporting that Jordane Shayne Pryor and her spouse were involved in an argument which started as a verbal disagreement, then became violent. It's unclear what started the fight, but when Pryor's husband tried to leave, she allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife.

The report from Killeen Police stated the victim tried to take the knife from Pryor, then turned and ran toward the front door. As he attempted to unlock it, he was stabbed on the top of his head. The victim was finally able to open the door and get away. He was later transported to Advent Health Hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, Pryor was charged with assault causing bodily injury to a family member and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony. Her bond was set at a total of $110,000 and she remains in the Bell County Jail as of Tuesday.
