
Killeen Woman Killed By Train Identified
Police have identified a woman who was hit and dragged by a train Tuesday night in Killeen.
58-year-old Hermanda Dixon-Cardona was attempting to cross the tracks near the 10th street crossing when she tripped and fell. Police arrived at the scene around 11:45 p.m. and found the woman’s body about 100 feet east of the crossing. Dixon-Cardona was not carrying any form of identification at the time she was killed.
According to a police spokesperson, the crossing’s barriers and flashing lights were working properly.
