We apparently have a grand bargain on comprehensive immigration reform.   Big Business has agreed to it.  So has Big Labor.  The only group that has no say is the American people.  This so-called deal is being ramrodded by the ultra-liberal New York Senator Chuck Schumer.  He and several other senators including John McCain and Lindsay Graham are signing on to a package that would allow amnesty for about 12 million illegal aliens now in the US – and admit up to 200-thousannd more low-skilled guest workers per year.  This is a boatload of new votes for the Democrats.  Roughly 60 percent of these new citizens will vote Democratic if the past is an indicator.  Obama is so excited he can barely contain himself.  The AFL-CIO has opposed amnesty, but has given up and will instead try to unionize them.  All this is being pushed through without public hearings of any kind.
