I’m Lynn Woolley with your Logic Minute for 5/2/13

We have become a welfare state.  We’ve had the New Deal and the Great
Society – but now we have Obama and the advent of a country totally
dependent on government.  Perhaps the most shocking statistic is the
high percentage of students who quality for free and reduced lunches
at school.  Add to that the fact that government enables the single
mom by paying her to have babies – while the fathers pay nothing for
the wellbeing of the children they created.  There is some outrage
about the family of the Boston Marathon bombers getting $100 million
over a decade – everything from welfare payments to Section 8
housing.  But there’s not much talk about instant welfare embedded in
the new Comprehensive Immigration Bill.  Some day we will have to
decide.  Do we want roads and bridges, a cure for cancer, a space
program?  Or will we spend ALL our money on welfare?  We know where
Obama stands.
