The Benghazi cover-up is turning into a major headache for President Obama. Fox News, through relentless investigative reporting…has kept the story at the forefront. And, if you can believe it, Bob Schieffer led with this story on “Face the Nation” – while the other networks either ignored the story or downplayed it. Wednesday, Congressman Darrell Issa’s committee holds hearings. But back to “Face the Nation” – if the President has lost CBS, he might soon lose ABC and even Obama-friendly NBC. Networks tend to cover what other networks cover – that’s how we get so much of the unimportant Jodi Arias trial. Remember that Benghazi not only features a Watergate style cover-up – but also four dead Americans. If the story heats up in the news, President Obama may have to face the music – and with him, Hillary Clinton, who’s almost certain to run for president again – unless derailed by scandal.
