For just under two years now, Daniel Hurd has been riding his bike through the United States to raise suicide prevention awareness. His latest stop was in Waco.

Our news partners KWTX had a conversation with Daniel.

Daniel started his own non-profit "One Pedal at a Time," which is dedicated to helping suicide prevention after he dealt with suicidal thoughts himself. After his third suicide attempt, he found purpose in biking and started a journey to ride in all 48 continent States in America. When he was in Waco he had ridden in 37 states so far.

"I never expected to be able to help other people, when I started this it was for myself... so it's a blessing everyday,"

-Daniel Hurd
