Man Stopped for Speeding On His Way to Pay Speeding Ticket

Police in Royalton, Connecticut say a 33-year-old man was clocked at 112 mph while weaving in and out of traffic in a 65 mph zone along I-89 Wednesday. When he was pulled over, the man told a state trooper he was in a rush to get to traffic court and pay off a previous speeding ticket.

The genius driver was charged with excessive speed and negligent operation, and has been ordered to appear in court next month.
