Mother and Toddler Found Dead
Police continue to investigate the murder of a woman and her baby, both of whom were discovered in McLennan County around Noon Sunday.
KWTX's Greg Crosby reported that the victims are a woman in her twenties and a 1-year-old boy. Their bodies were found near Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir, which is roughly 10 miles east of Downtown Waco.
McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara told KXXV, "It was one of the most sadistic, brutal homicides I've ever seen."
Police had not released many details Sunday. They are expected to provide more information Monday.
