Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Collision with Truck Near Rogers

A motorcyclist was injured Monday morning when his bike burst into flames after colliding with an 18-wheeler on U.S. 190 near Rogers.

The wreck occurred at the intersection of Knob Hill Road and U.S. Highway 190 shortly after 10 AM. The rider of the motorcycle was taken to Scott & White Hospital in Temple with unspecified injuries. Details of his condition have not been released, but officials say he was conscious and responsive at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the truck was not injured. Officials are investigating the cause of the collision.
