Naked Man Involved in Rooftop Standoff in Waco

UPDATE: KWTX reports that the standoff ended late Friday morning.

Police were able to grab the suspect from a ladder and take him into custody. No injuries were reported.

The nude man is reportedly a suspect in a shooting that occurred late last night at a home in the 1700 block of North MLK Blvd in Waco. Police responding to a domestic dispute found a woman who'd been shot in the face. She was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center. Her condition has not yet been released.

Waco police were trying to talk a naked man off of a roof Friday morning.

Our news partner, KWTX, reports that police surrounded a home in the area of Rennick and Garrison after receiving a call about an unclothed man climbing atop a roof.
