Lampasas Spring Ho Festival in Lampasas
The Lampasas Spring Ho Festival is going on now through this Sunday, July 10th at various locations throughout Lampasas. There will be a pageant, fireworks show, parade, shopping, games, a carnival, competitions, and live music from the Bellamy Brothers, Mike Ryan, and more. Get the full schedule of events here.
Hot Summer Sounds Concert Series in Temple
Admission is free to the Hot Summer Sounds Concert Series, presented by Baylor Scott and White Health Plan. Tonight, (July 8th) the Brazos Brothers will perform from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Lions Park (Sam Farrow) Amphitheater, 4205-4319 Lions Park Drive in Temple. The weekly outdoor concert series occurs every Friday in July.
The Temple Small Business Coalition is hosting the Summer Market & Food Truck Frenzy from 2 to 8 p.m. this Saturday at 2 North Main Street in Temple. There will be vendors, food trucks, a bounce house, live music, and more at this event.
Farmer's Markets in Harker Heights & Copperas Cove
There are plenty of great farmer's markets in Central Texas this summer until early fall. Harker Heights Famers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday right now through October at Harker Heights City Hall on 305 Miller’s Crossing. There will be local farmers, producers, and artisans selling a variety of fresh produce and other products.
Belton Events This Weekend
Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area will host Outdoor Movie Night Saturday, July 9th at 7999 Sparta Road in Belton. The featured movie will be 'Dog', and starts at 9 p.m. Attendees can bring a lawn chair, blanket, and snacks. Cost is $10 per car load.
A Sami Show: Arts & Crafts Market’s Christmas in July will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday at the Bell County Expo Center, 301 West Loop 121, Belton. A variety of vendors will let you get your Christmas shopping done early and choose from a wide variety of unique handmade gifts. Admission is $6 per person and kids 12 and under are free.
