KWTX reported that a man is dead, and another man is in custody after a shooting took place on late Monday night in Central Texas.

The shooting that took place on on Monday in Bremond when a heated dispute turned deadly between two men and a woman.

The shooting occurred between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at home in the vicinity of Anderson and East Jack Street as reported by the Sheriff of Robertson County, Gerald Yezak.

Sheriff Yezak said, "Two men and a woman were in a disagreement in the rear carport area of the home when shots rang out."

The victim was shot multiple times, and was pronounced dead later on that night. According to online jail records, Cody Tepera, 29 of Franklin was in Robertson County Jail for the charge of murder on Tuesday.

Bond has not been set, and a weapon was recovered at the scene of the crime. The victim's identitiy has not been released to the public at this time.
