Overnight Shooting At Bar Takes A Life

One man is dead after a shooting at a bar in Waco Sunday morning.

Nestor Montoya with our news partner, KWTX, reports that police responded to the shots fired around 1:30 a.m. at Jesters Bar, 2119 La Salle Avenue.

When the officers arrived, they found the body of 24-year-old Deon Dashawn Love, who'd suffered fatal gunshot wounds. 31-year-old Eric Hernandez has been named as the prime suspect.

Hernandez fled the scene, but was later taken into custody. He remained in jail Monday in lieu of $500,000.
