Retired Officer Struck During A Funeral Procession in Killeen

KWTX's Sam DeLeon reports that a retired police officer was hit Monday morning in Killeen.

The officer was traveling east along Jasper Road as he escorted a funeral procession. An elderly woman also driving eastbound near the officer made a left turn, striking the officer's motorcycle.

The officer was alert after being hit, and was transported to a local hospital.
