Salado Crash Disrupts Traffic

An 18-wheeler crashed on I-35 Wednesday morning in Salado, causing a traffic back-up in both directions.

Around 7 a.m., the northbound truck hit a concrete barrier, sending it into the southbound shoulder.

Jodi Wheatley, spokesperson for the Texas Department of Transportation, said no injuries or damage to other vehicles have been reported.

A repair crew is working to fix the situation.
