The students at Scott Elementary are on a mission to make a difference in their community. Here's how you can help.

Friday, starting at 9 a.m. the public is invited to stop by the school and shop the bazaar. Yes, feel free to shop 'til you drop. Items for sale include clothing, household items, shoes, small furniture, food, and handmade items from the students themselves.

All the proceeds will be donated to the local CASA organization in memory of Leigh Anne Nave, a former counselor at Scott Elementary, who passed away unexpectedly last summer.

CASA means Court Appointed Special Advocates. It's a national association in the U.S. that supports and promotes court-appointed advocates for abused, or neglected, children in order to provide the kids with a safe and healthy environment in permanent homes.

Again, the bazaar starts at 9 a.m. and goes till 2 p.m. at Scott Elementary School, 2301 West Avenue P in Temple.
