Shooting at Local Hotel

Three suspects involved in a shooting at the Modern Inn Hotel are wanted by Killeen police.

A  bullet grazed a man’s head during an altercation at the 1000 block of Root Avenue early Thursday morning.

According to the Killeen Police Department. the victim was outside his room when two black men and one white man allegedly attacked him and forced the man back into his room.

After the shot was fired, the three men then fled.

The victim was rushed to the hospital for his head wounds and was later released. The victim did not know his attackers and police are not certain of a motive.
