Temple police are investigating a shooting that left two men injured early Monday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the Kensington Apartments, 400 Fryers Creek Drive, around 1:15 AM in response to reports of a man having been shot. When they arrived, they found two wounded men. The victims were transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses told police that four unknown men broke into the apartment in which the victims were found and began shooting before fleeing the scene. Police have not released further details or descriptions of the suspects.

The shooting remained under investigation late Monday morning. Police are asking anyone with information that might be helpful to contact them at (254) 298-5500.


ICYMI: Police in Killeen are investigating a shooting that left a 29-year-old man dead. The victim was identified as Kevin Lebriant Thomas. He was found gunned down in the 4700 block of Greenlee Drive shortly after 4 AM Saturday morning.
