Shooting Reported Near Killeen's Hay Branch Elementary

UPDATE, 4:45 PM: KWTX reports that a man was shot during an altercation between another man a woman who arranged to meet after connecting on a dating site.

Police have not said what started the argument, but the man who met the woman was reportedly assaulted. He shot a 47-year-old man who was transported to Temple's Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Police are searching for an older man who reportedly left the area in a white sedan.

Killeen police are investigating a shooting reported in the 5700 block of Dan Drive late Tuesday morning.

KWTX reports that officers were dispatched shortly after 11:40 AM, and that a medical helicopter had been requested.
