The shredder is in town this Saturday!

No, not the Ninja Turtles villain.

An actual shredder to help you finally get rid of all those old documents you've got taking up space in your office or your house. I don't know about you, but I tend to hold on to old bills, receipts, and other documents I worry I'll need later. Most of the time I don't end up needing them, so I find myself with a boatload of paper that needs tearing to bits.

That's where the City of Temple, M&D Graphics and Printing, and RW Lone Star Security come in. They'll have an industrial shredder set up at the Temple Service Center, 3210 East Avenue H, from 9 AM to 11 AM Saturday, November 2.

This is a secure shred event, so whatever documents you bring will be obliterated. You can watch, too. Could be fun and maybe even cathartic.

There are a couple of rules to keep in mind. There's a limit of three banker boxes per person, and no binders will be accepted. (You can reuse those anyway.)

If you have any questions or concerns, reach out to the Solid Waste Department at (254) 298-5725.

Here's another Ninja Turtles clip for no reason. I just feel like it. Sue me, then shred the documents.
